Thing is the damage not recorded at time of pick up they can claim you did it.

First, do not fill out the survey via email until you find out if they fix your car to your satisfaction. The whole idea behind making you happy is to make sure you give them an perfect survey, if you already burned them on a survey, then they will just drag their feet fixing things. I'm not sure who is helping you at the dealer but if that partuicular person doesn't resolve your situation, go straight to the customer service rep at the dealer. The customer service reps can solve most problems the fastest. They are able to get around most of the red tape of getting anything done at a dealer. I can't speak for every dealer but my customer service rep has gotten crazy things done for customers. I would be shocked if the customer service rep doesn't get everything super quick for you. lastly, don't drag your feet about getting it back to the dealer to point it out. The longer you wait, the more suspicious things get. When you wait 6 weeks to come back about an issue, it just seems like you messed up your car and are just trying to get it fixed for free. One other thing, be cool to everyone when you get there. I'm all but certain that they had no idea about the damages to your car. Car Salesman are people too, and we make mistakes. The sad truth of it though is that car salesman can't make mistakes because every time we do, people assume that it was some type of lie or trick. So, once again, be cool to everyone and I'm sure they will make everything well again. |

This is why you have to do a very thorough inspection before you take delivery of the car. I know emotions can be overwhelming and people often overlook the little things, but those little things can come back and bite you. Once you drive the car off the lot you are up to the discretion of the dealer whether or not they will correct problems with the paint, seats, etc.
I agree with the above, tell the dealer you will give them a poor rating on the survey and online, and also will contact Toyota Corporate unless they take care of you. Also threaten to take your car to another dealer for service. |

If you don't like the way the car look cosmetically get it to them ASAP to fix it, simple as that. The longer you wait the more they will assume you were the one who did the damage and will refuse to fix the damage. Explain to the dealer the issue and have them fix it!

make them offer you a TRD exhaust at some high discount and say you'll forget about it when they do.
