The kit was designed for a stockish car. It was tested on a few cars, starting with fully stock (I think it dynoed around 215 whp low boost no intercooler fully stock car, then exhaust, and then higher boost pullies, intercoolers etc. and ended up safely around (250whp and 230wtq) If you can be reasonable with this kit as far as running CA91 gas (not forgetting and filling up on 87) and are running a non intercooled version there should be no issues with not enough fuel/detonating. The provided ecutec thingy is fine
I would agree with the rest of the people saying the powerband isn't crazy but with stickyish tires, nice suspension, and exhaust you quickly realize that the fun of these cars isn't always in a straight line but being able to power out of turns/powerslides etc. The Innovate FRS always places high in the frs track competitions using the same kit they're selling with a decent driver. Again, this kit isn't for high hp top end power, its for a low end to mid-top end torque range and it does that very well Will it beat a corvette in a straight line? probably not, but it will be quicker then 70% of things out there for sure Also everything above is my own opinion and experience

I'll throw in another view
Sc like this can feel slow, because there is no surge in power, like say from lag to big turbo boost. It's not speed or acceleration that most people associate with feeling fast, it change in acceleration, m/s/s/s. or m/s^3. Going from 50 to 300hp in 1000rpm will feel fast. But you may be getting spanked on a track and even a drag by a car the puts its car down more smoothly/progressively, even though that car would feel slower to most people. |

^ and you can experience a similar feeling with this kit, just drive at 20% throttle and then stamp on the gas at 4 or 5 thousand rpm. It'll be slower though.
Think of a plane taking off, doesn't feel fast (compared to.a car with moderate-large turbo) because the acceleration of the plane is smooth, the rate of acceleration never surges. Yet although it doesn't feel fast, it would easily out drag most turbo cars that feel faster, as they have high rates of acceleration change. You can obviously see these types of cars on their dyno sheets, nothing nothing nothing POWER. I'd rather just power power power power. Seeing as I drive 95% of the time in the first two powers Lol |

I'm assuming those are the port injectors that are at 100% and that you plan on upgrading, as there are no aftermarket DI injectors available yet. What's your DI injector utilization look like? i can't imagine you're maxing out both port and DI on 93 octane.

For the most part, at say 7,000 rpm, the SOI for the DI's is 10 degrees inside the exhaust stroke. So, you have at most 1 revolution or 1/2 cycle for the injection window. That gives you at most 8.5ms for injection on the DI side, again assuming you can spray all the way up to 10 degrees btdc on the compression stroke (in most cases the plug would already be firing at this point).

It took me and wrkgoose about 3 hours for the install and have it running. I hooked his car up to the Toyota/Scion/Lexus factory scan tool (tech stream) and at full throttle the port injectors were at 100% duty cycle and the fuel pump was at 90%. The DI injectors and pump are fine. He still hasnt installed the new injectors and pump yet but its in the works.

The post about the Cusco listing of the Stage 2 (Intercooled) kit show it coming with larger injectors. Anyone with the Aussie/Kiwi Stage 2 kit get bigger injectors with their kit?

That's something Cusco must have decided to add in, as I have a Bullet kit and it didnt come with injectors.
