That's basically what it is, yes. The point is that you can fold down the rear seats to accommodate larger cargo (e.g. golf clubs) without it being in line of sight from outside the car. It also keeps stuff from coming forward during heavy braking.

I was hoping that Hotchkis' X-brace was gonna be out soon for a rear seat "delete".

so my custom rear seat delete/sub box is almost complete.

here is a crude example but not far from a complete bass thumping reality!!!!

when im done with mine you kno ima be making some for you guys if u got some loot

what do u think of my creation?

I would DEFINITELY buy your rear seat delete kit, hope you ship to Aus . Also, Seibon made a carbon rear seat delete kit for $1,700, you can find it HERE if you wanted to know... (Still like the Mustang Boss idea better though)
