Yes if you car is a street car you need to have a thermostat. Or your oil temps will never reach a normal level.

nothing at all.. boosting on all stock cooling. i live in florida lol. it's actually worked quite well just driving on the street, temps havent changed a bit since before the turbo. oil is still too hot, but then it already was before (230ish).

tsk tsk... if you are using a liquid to air oil cooler you need a thermostat...if you are going liquid to liquid...ala robi spec solution none is needed, water temp will bring oil up to temp faster. You can always install an inline thermostat if needed, the units that are scaled down to fit in small applications are...well less than ideal in operation for my money. |
