I would prefer something that is handmade vs mass produced off some assembly line somewhere.. I also like to support companies that are in the good old USA as long as they are high quality. I would have no issue buying something that wasnt built in the USA such as the hks header but I feel for the price 1200 dollars you get a more bang for your buck with p&l, jdl, or fa20club. Look how awesome the cookie cutter mass produced headers like the borla and agency power are working out for people. One has warped flanges and the other makes no power gains.

I dont see where I once said all jdm is mass produced. However, they are grossley overpriced in the USA. So yes hks could be hand made..I don't believe they are.. so please tell me what headers that are currently available for the frs that are for sale on this forum that are hand made outside of the USA. |

![]() Definitely nothing AP. I'm gonna keep my Motiv OP and MXP FP. Gonna replace my MXP exhaust and gonna add a header. Most likely FA20. Want to get a really light exhaust, dual. I would do single if there was a rear diffuser that covered one of the holes ![]()

I have posted it up on a few forums this was years ago but they obviously have not changed... what a surprise. They charged this poor guy a lot of money to do everything possible cheaply, wrong and half the time nothing at all. They had no clue what they were doing it was to funny.

I remember there was a site dedicated to bad reviews of Agency Power & @vividracing and the owner of Vivid/AP tried to sue the owner of the site. The site was full of bad reviews taken from multiple message boards and testimonies of horrible service by them. The owner of AP/Vivid I believe sued him to take the site down for copyright or some crap regarding using there name in the domain or site. There have been tons of unhappy customers on tons of forums where they were vendors at give them horrible reviews. It was proven that they would make there parts in Taiwan as an ex employee had pictures of there shipping/receiving logs/receipts. They made there parts for dirt cheap and make a huge profit on them. I remember reading on NASIOC one time that they sold a Greddy product at one time. Then they ended up making a complete knock off of it and they removed the part and put there own up. One common thing is when you order from VividRacing is if you order anything from them that isnt Agency Power they wont get it to you for a LONG time. There have been tons of upset customers who have waited months to receive there parts and would need to do charge backs. This may not happen anymore but it happened a lot back then and wouldnt be surprised if they still do that now. I have no problem with companies who sell a product and order it for you from that company directly as thats what they do but they arent honest when it comes to a shipping date. They will charge you then send it out 2-3 months later AFTER you hound them about it, whereas other companies will tell you a time and send it by then. They carry plenty of Agency Power crap parts but only uninformed individuals buy there parts. Just google Agency Power vivid racing sucks and you will get plenty of google results of unhappy customers new and old. Here are a couple of quotes taken from another board with a quick google search. Dont buy their crap of changing ownership. Because you still see horrible reviews from message board posts that were posted in the last 2-3 years. IMO they should of been banned after they made 3 HUGE threads of dyno's for there bolt ons and lying to the whole community to make some quick cash. A lot of people wasted there money because they didnt get banned for doing the same crap they did on other forums. Quote:

Almost every owner who has owned it has said it either drones, bad fitment, quality control issues and the ones who have dyno'd it have shown it not getting anything close to what they claimed there exhausts were advertised to get. Nowhere else but 3-4 whp only at the peak compared to the 10-12 they claimed throughout the whole dyno. Dont forget after that whole 3 threads of bullshit/fake dyno's they got there headers exposed for not getting any gains. All while charging what other reputable vendors who actually do R&D on there products. They should be selling there parts for what Megan sells theres for MUCH CHEAPER. Because like Megan they just copy other peoples work. All of this has been proved countless times on other forums and here and even other vendors like Nameless have called them out on it in the past. |

Maybe the real culprit is not Vivid, but UPS or FedEx..................but in the past five vehicles they have helped me on I have never had an issue with them or the product they sell.
