For the people who purchased this gauge and also bought the Y adapter, have you tested its functionality yet?
I tried to use it with the gauge hooked up (obviously) and my Ecutek cable and I could not datalog. Now i'm guessing its because they are both trying to read the OBD but I was under the impression that we would be able to do this. I'm scared to even try to download a map with the y adapter in there. That would be a pretty big bummer as this was the sole reason I bought the adapter, so I wouldn't have to unplug the gauge everytime I had to datalog/upate my maps. |

ive tested it. you can flash the ecu just fine but the gauge pulls CAN BUS priority on the network when its connected. you should always log with only one item connected anyway cause the transfer rate on the system was never designed to maintain that speed while feeding multiple sources

Ordered my gauge on tuesday and it arrived today! From California to indiana, that's pretty damn good. So I had to install it right away and see how awesome it is. I love this thing! Here some pics and a video.
EDIT: Sorry for all the wind noise in the video. The air conditioning was on blowing right at the phone. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I like to watch my AFR on the gauge because the readout is nice and big, and the ecutek datalogging screen layout leaves something to be desired. |

I've just received and installed my gauge. But can someone please advise why my Egt (exhaust gas temp) reading is 0 ?
![]() My car is totally stock ft86. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMqu5WvRcPo&feature=share&list=UUTZ6o535po yxBRxgQlQGcow"]P3car gauge - YouTube[/ame] Last edited by Sookainian; 09-24-2013 at 09:29 AM. |

Because our cars do not have an exhaust gas temp sensor so there is nothing to display.

But i thought for this gauge take the reading from the ECU, so there should be a readout without additional sensor right ? http://www.p3cars.com/frz-install/ this is what it show on p3car website "Egt: Exhaust Gas Temperature. This is the temp of the exhaust gas as calculated by your ECU." |

Refer to post #356. The first pic is a video. I cycle thru each sensor and they all display correctly. Including egt. |

Correct, it adjusts based on the oxygen sensor.
