What laws are we talking about? I had a supercharged M3 in california and had no issues. Pushed 450+ hp.. I never had any issues. Georgia in the other hand I sped off on a red light still went speed limit and got charged with street racing... when there were no cars next to me just behind.

Now that I've ran all 3: Homestead, PBIR, and Sebring. I can tell you that they're ALL fun because of what you go to do. You go to the track to learn the limits of your car and see how far you can push it safely. You can pretty much do that at any track. However, if I had to pick one for my HPDEs from now on it would be Sebring. Bumps, variety of turns, changes in type of pavement and amenities make it the best for me.

Homestead: Good on Amenities (has garages), decent variety of turns, but there isn't a single turn you can take flat out. The bankings are pretty cool.

PBIR: Same surface all around, has 3 decreasing radius turns which make the track repetitive (yes, I know you're running LAPS, but you're only practicing 2-3 types of turns). No flat out turns either. No Garages.

Sebring: Has garages, good amenities, has a variety of turns (S, hairpins, flat out), bumps and dips keep you on your toes and force you to make corrections, which can develop skills regarding recovery, weight transfer, driving smoothly, etc. Sebring is just a bigger challenge to me and the reason I like it more.

running 10/10ths isn't about the track anymore, it's about the car.

Just subscribed. Been Following this thread since day one and along with all the other recents. I am mind blown as to how much hype this car is getting and looking into getting one someday. I've got so many questions so you guys will prolly see me floating around the forums asking questions. For the most part I've done my homework on the various SC and turbo kit and am mostly up to speed with what does what.
One big question that I would like to ask that may or may not be related to this thread.
-How come the big power guys have such low torque. I see some of the dyno charts in the 400+ range and the torque is 100+ less than the amount of power. What are some ways to make that kind of large power without losing so much torque. Does it involve porting the heads or changing the valve springs? Head Job?

Well explain how a boosted evo with the 4g63 has the same displacement and has more torque. I do understand that they are different types of engines; one being i4 1.8L and the other boxer 4 2.0L.

Bore and stroke of the engine and compression ratio play huge roles in having torque and hp being close to one another. All about where the power is at 5252rpms.
