Please don't shack your head.

Actually, I love when a car looks well used and abused. That's what it's made for. It is not a trophy.

And OEM > * mods

I love the car to death, but it's not easy when you don't have access to a garage or open driveway and need to wait for when it's not sunny out. That plus the crazy weather NYC's been getting this summer where it's thunder-storming every 3 days makes it kinda pointless for me to wash it that one cloudy day.

I drive almost 100 miles a day for work so right after washing it, it comes back full of dust, pollen, and bugs.

I just did get some ONR though so hopefully that will make things a little easier.

But for now I just tell people it's an asphalt
ONR FTW! I also live in apartments. Since its summer and I'm still in the honey moon phase I've been washing her every 2 weeks with ONR and two buckets . Once school picks up I have a feeling that won't maintain

If only ONR took care of the "sun" part of not washing in the sun...

I'm at about once every two weeks too.

That's also a problem for me. I usually end up doing it around 6-7pm so it is not an issue.

I've learned that there will always be people like this, with or without a clean ride!

I have washed my baby at least once a week, and waxed once a month for a year mow.

True, but probabilistically, miscreants are attracted to bright, shiny objects at a much greater frequency than dull, dirty ones. Think of a monkey. Is it more likely to pick up a shiny silver coin, or a dull copper one from the gutter? The same for magpies and small children.

Yeah, but it's not isolated to "urban" areas either.
