I'm still not clear on the tuning aspect. Does this require dyno time, or are there canned tunes available for various parts, such as Innovate and Vortec kits? Can we buy the kit and get access to the e85 maps, or do we need an existing e85 tune from you?

you will need an exiting tune from me or you can have your current tuner setup the tables you would need it up to you.

So just for clarification, this flex fuel kit extrapolates between two different tunes based on the ethanol content of the fuel if I understand correctly. Because of how ECUTEK licensing works, you would not be able to install the flex fuel functionality on two existing fuel content tunes from a different tuner. Is this correct? I guess to save a headache just get all tuning done by Tony!!!

That is the basic idea. If you have a tuner of choice and they can do that

But Tony is the man

So, for further clarification, we would need the flex-fuel kit, a 93 octane tune, AND an E85 tune from you guys? Or do we only need one existing 93 or E85 tune?

Hey just curious did you guys ever get the correct install for the BRZ wiring? Been on vacation the past few weeks so sorry if this has been covered already. Any chance you could send me the installation instructions? thks!

I'm mostly concerned about the "tip in knock" that guys in the Innovate thread are getting. Seems like only @moto-mike has solved that problem and he mentioned it took him over 10 hours to figure out.

Does FA20Club have that issue figured out as well? I want to make sure tunes are 100% safe and am considering this flex fuel kit (for N/A for now) but want to make sure if/when I upgrade to F/I the tune will be solid.

EDIT: Also, is it possible to buy the kit, and use another tuner for the tune? How would that work, would the flex fuel kit work with any tune file? Or would the tuner need to have some sort of "flex fuel" tune in order for it to work properly?

tip-in knock is easier to solve but more so for the guys who arent on 91 octane or in the desert
