Will a different tune be needed for a 91 octane ethanol mix, or is everything based on ethanol content? 91 is always neglected by you east coast people.

Flex Fuel kit operates of ethanol content. The 91 fuel will be a base starting point and as you add Ethanol it will begin to take over.

For the person with a supercharger but stock pump + injectors... will a specified pump + port injector upgrade be necessary to run this kit?

you will be able to run this kit with stock everything. you will want to upgrade your injectors (most important) and fuel pump to allow maximizing your fuel deliver during tuning.

Sorry, let me re-phrase that. To run your flex fuel kit + flex fuel supercharger tune will we need to buy a specific combo of pump and injector. The way I understand things are that the tune you are offering for flex fuel would not work on stock pump + injectors.

for the chargers you will need pump and injector upgrades unless you are on the innovate which can probably get away with just the pump, but i would still advise to just do both and be done with. you dont want to cut corners on fuel system upgrades when you already almost 4k invested in forced induction. we dont limit you to a specific brand incase you already have a specific manufacturers pump & injector.

E60 was the final mix for that test. It should read up to E100. From how I read it, they had a tank mostly empty and rather than drain it, they just poured in E85 and let this system track the mixture. When it was finally fully mixed it ended up being 60% ethanol, or E60 equivalent.

correct that was the purpose of testing it this was to show the flex fuel system in action. and unless you run E98 you wont really pass E85. We dont have a winter blend here so sometimes ive tested at the pump almost E90
