WOW that camera mount is bad!
Daily driving with some quick blasts 00:00 to 2:40 Drag reduction only 3:00 to 3:10 2nd gear 2000rpm 3:45 3rd gear 2300rpm at 4:35 - you can see it hit and the sound gets a bit deeper 1st gear 2000rpm 6:50 2nd gear 2500rpm uphill 7:20 |

Thanks Fenton; that was a helpful video for me, even though the audio was low quality. I appreciate the work putting the videos together!

I've never used it so I'm blanking on the name, but there's a piggyback tuning system that has a pretty good reputation and leaves no evidence behind that it was ever installed. Could that be used instead of flashing the ecu to avoid the cel and get the most out of the system? Another advantage is that once a tune was developed, it could be easily made available on Phantom's website. I remember reading that it can support multiple tunes, so you could set it up with the full power tune and one that is optimized for standby mode where the electrocharger is just slightly pressurizing the system. With a little work, we might come up with a single switch that would toggle both at the same time.

Too much stuff to remember it all.
If it monitors throttle position, then it might be possible to give those of us who want a little more control than 100% or nothing (okay, next to nothing) what we want. This is looking better and better. I cannot wait for the '14s to come out so I can get my car. By then this system might even be ready for prime time. woohoo!

I may be getting the Unichip tuning package just so I can start checking it out and playing with the concept a little. I'm no tuner, but if I can get the basics down hopefully I can find tuner who can help me get the details sorted.

BuTang's car just off the rollers:
Peak HP up 20% Peak TQ up 33% Best HP Gain up 50% @ 4000 rpm Best TQ Gain up 54% @ 4000 rpm Toma provided a conservative 'base tune' (CEL code manipulation, 11.5-11.75 AFR's, 800-900 rpm idle to ensure alt. output) I have a BRZedit file. Boost curve consistent and spot on to Fenton's. Fenton's car had cam angles adjusted and leaner (12.5-13's) ~ 205hp Bu-Tang's car has a safe 'base tune'. ~ 199hp. (he has graphs) Results are as expected, HP/TQ curves are very smooth, Thanks Toma ! Rob |

I'm pretty sure you can set it up so if the Meth pressure drops, it will automatically switch over to a tune that is safe without it.

Here they are!
First one is a Filter/No filter dyno comparison, Toma just took the air filter out and directed the air box facing upwards with the fan blowing that direction. As you can see it really made no difference. |

800-900 RPM is mainly cause for me I have a sub and amp in the car, running at the high RPM just ensures a solid charging rate to support all my accessories at idle.
