I usually drive with very little pedal movement and almost never floor it except for autocross, during which I don't really feel like I am getting more power or pull than I do at 50% on the street.

Is the car fiddling with throttle sensitivity based on my daily inputs or something?
Nope that is just the way the car is. 50% foot to the floor equals pretty much 100% throttle open thats why it doesnt feel like you get anymore.

Most modern cars do this to make it feel like you are going faster. My STI was really bad for it in S# mode, 25% throttle was basically WOT lol

Just to add to this, on older throttle bodies that use cables this was done by using oblong/eccentric pulleys... so that throttle response down low felt a lot better when in reality it just turned 25% pedal travel into much more actual throttle opening

If you dont want the full power just go 70% throttle instead of >80%...... and trust me after a day with the charger this is very easy to do.
dyno w drag reduction only pls... sorry for pestering u lol

Awesome can't wait to see the results. Are you going to run the stock tune or get a canned tune?

Looks like you have some good abuse lined up :-)

Working on a date and time for the tune. I have too much shit on the ride for a canned tune unfortunately.

BTW the way, the drag date has 2 innovative kits participating for a reference point. It will be a longshot. Drive map below.

Still interested. Don't understand why those who think this sucks keep posting.

Why not a wireless switch on the steering wheel to fire up the turbo? Maybe two modes, 50% and 100%. I'd rather have it available at way less than 80% throttle, and I wouldn't need it for long.

It is easier to tune for if you can only activate at WOT. This sounds weird in theory but it actually works awesome in person.

If you need more than the NA can give you just go a little more on the accelerator.

UPDATE

Okay so something i have been wanting to do for a while is a walkthough of the system as i was driving. I think it will give alot of clarity to those people that are interested in the system.

On the far right of the video you can see the voltage readout and arming switch. This readout goes from 28.x when it is fully charged down to 21 or so when you really get on the throttle. If you watch in HD and full screen i think you should be able to makeout the numbers. I try to mention what they are at thoughout the video so if you cant see you will have to trust me.

This video shows acceleration, daily driveablity and has a full 2nd and 3rd gear pull with ONLY drag reduction enabled(i call that out).

This also appears to be the first video that i have uploaded of in cabin since the tune. This video represents 206hp at 6750 and 190tq at about 2200 rpm.

Enjoy and let me know of any questions about the video! And please try to ignore the terrible clicking and squeaking of the camera mount plus tape! LOL
