I went with Hot Lava, not because the other colours are not lovely in their own right, they just didn't scream 'mid-life crisis' loud enough for me.

I don't think the red is a "girls" color - this coming from a girl. I don't think any of the FR-S colors are "girly"... IMO that would be more if it came in like pastel colors or pink or something. I personally went with Argento because Raven and Asphalt were too dark for me, I'm over white because I drove a white Camry in my previous life, and I wanted what I consider to still be a 'neutral' color.
Plus, it'd be so much more difficult to match my outfits with my car if it were any other color... teehee ![]() Bottom line - get what you want, as long as it makes you happy. You're the one who's gonna be driving at it and investing the money in it. LOL. I have been joking with my friends that my FR-S is my midlife crisis car. They retort that I'm too young to be going through a midlife crisis yet (I just turned 32.) But then again my previous car was a Toyota Corolla, so it's a big change. |

Cops profile how expensive a car looks. Two ars going same speed over the limit the cop will pull over the more expensive looking one due to them more likely to just pay the ticket than fight it which means no court for them

it was a simple case-in-point example which you blew out of proportion claiming me acting as a representative for all cars ever. you just have to watch your guard a little more carefully when in an unusual colored car because it catches the eye. if you choose to drive 'like a buffoon', youre more likely to be singled out. how can you possibly be so against that thought? idk about that because when I did get pulled over, there was a newer grey A8 going the same speed as me that the cop actually passed to get to me. but, of course, that could've been an 'anomaly' Last edited by Celica00; 07-28-2013 at 08:44 PM. |

My girlfriends Nissan Versa is red, and even with a good tailwind, I can't get a damn speeding ticket...

Here's a pic to confuse you more.
![]() Red and white were my two final choices as well. In the end, I went with white, but if I had known about the $200 fee for whiteout, I probably would have gone with firestorm. Can't really go wrong either way though.

Its not a girl color.
-Its a sports car AND the perfect shade of red might I add. My only concern about getting the firestorm....(For me at least) Will I be able to pull it off?...I mean...She's going to be so sexy...I hope I don't get too jealous of all the looks guys on the road give her |

Right??? Again, I'm female but I don't believe in pastel shades or pink for a car. I feel like car colors should always be "manly" since they are huge hunks of metal. Every time I see a pink car on the road it makes me want to puke... and that includes that rose gold shade that I saw on a Lexus once.

I initially didnt want the firestorm color. All the pictures of it seemed dull. That all changed once i pulled up to the dealership and saw one. I have 0 regrets in buying it.
Its going to look even better once i make a few minor changes to it.

I was dead set on getting the ultramarine blue for my frs. But red was my second choice followed by a coin tossed with white. You can't go wrong with either. Red is hot. White is clean. I'd probably go with the white though. Red is nice too but I'm also not 21 anymore.

If it was side by side with a whiteout I would get the whiteout (personal preference).
Outside of that situation I would get a firestorm. Only color I really would say no to is silver. |
