Yeah it has a blow-through maf, and I guess the temp sensor is in the maf.

Yes. That is a big benefit to a blow through maf after the IC.

@moto-mike when are you getting the header in and tuned?

I saw Edmunds put the innovate on their FRS, really caught my interest. I am at that point with the dealer that keeping this car stock is just not worth the hassel so instead of just buying a header+tune this kit is making sense. I tend to think there is a bit much emphasis on E85 and methanol while the majority of buyers of this kit will be running pump gas and just want enough power gain to not require a clutch, injector, pump etc.

Are you done with the pump gas tune, does the choppiness on the dyno concern you? Any hope left to smooth it out ?

Also have you measured EGT's? With pump gas and no intercooler I would understand quite a bit of timing is pulled and fuel added, should we be concerned about the stock manifold cats. Would you say a cat-free header is mandatory with pump gas?

Definitely not done with the pump gas tune. We're ironing out some of the fueling stuff up top that may be the reason, and the down low issues that others are having as well (slight delay). Most of the way there at this point I think, but need to get a bit more data. Should have it back on the dyno again in the coming weeks if the header gets here.

A cat free header is highly recommended. While we can dump fuel to cool things off, those stock units are sized for output, so if you're flogging it a lot then it won't hold up unless we do that. But if it just occasional use it will hold up OK I think.

Thankyou and do keep us posted. I was considering a tune as my only mod but if you get the innovate + header tune down to producing zero knock like your other FI tunes I will probably just get all three at once.

Ooh...what do we have here

Yup, it's awesome. E85 like performance on pump gas. Holds to redline, no issues despite no IC. You DO want a 3 bar MAP for this.

On E85? Holy hell it rips. Spent the better part of the last two days working on the pump gas tune and it looks good so far, should get it out to rest of our innovate people in the next week or so. Just waiting on confirmation from some of the folks to make sure the new tune is doing its job.

ETA on the pulleys is pending, we want to make sure these hold up good over time. 0 issues so far on the stock Innovate belt.

let me know if you need someone to make sure those pulleys can hold up to the rigors of the blue Gates RACING belt. Look kind of brittle to me.

Not yet. We're prioritizing making the tune consistent before going for peak hp numbers. So far so good, but I'd like to see more datalogs to make sure it is holding across multiple cars.

What size is that pulley? Sprintex don't warranty the units at 70mm normally, so curious how you're managing that?

Are you running the 70mm or 72.5mm? I'll be interested in seeing the results!

BTW - New tune file feels much better but only went for a quick spin.
