Do it for science!

Some very solid numbers appearing (about what I was expecting). I wonder if these kits hate 102 degree ambients or if the OEM over pipe and cat back really choak the flow off.

I doubt the OEM catback is the restriction. @robispec is making good numbers with the stock exhaust, no? I don't recall what his exact power mods are, but I know @DeliciousTuning posted them the other day. I do remember that he was on the 70mm pulley, stock catback, stock injectors and a 65c.

If the guys at Underdog Racing respond to me and confirm it will fit (or someone takes a bunch of pictures of the stock pulley bolt pattern/ribs) and @moto-mike thinks he can safely adjust the basemap tune for the 70mm pulley, i'll grab one and have brady throw it on Friday.

I'm not sure if a new belt is needed or not though. Maybe robi or delicious can comment.

anything else i'd need (map sensor?) or should stock be fine?

Figured we would share a few of our results with this group.

First has mods listed in picture.

Second has headerback exhaust, stock air box, 92 octane pump gas with no meth.

Tuning another similar setup to the second one today except this one has the Perrin CAI and the ACT clutch setup. Will be interesting to see the difference.

Can't wait to see what these will do on pump gas with an intercooler!

how well did the meth combat heat soak? i.e. in consecutive passes how much power would be lost with meth compared to no meth?

I'm a fan of WMI but the gains here are not what I expected...maybe I just need to expect smaller gains since this is an overall smaller output motor. I was pretty spoiled with my Legacy GT.

Regardless, these are good numbers for this car and that torque curve (or I should say line) is killer. Can't wait for a Portland meet so I can see this kit in person!

Gains on supercharged and n/a cars are minimal because you simple can't turn up the boost like you would on a turbo car. As for the incercooling effect of the methanol the results were great with almost no heat soak and very consistent hp results on back to back runs. The install was a little tricky because it's boost activated which required us to tap a boost reference into the manifold. Luckily Innovate gave us a nice flat spot to tap a nipple next to the MAP sensor on the same plate. Worked very well and looks very professional. Today's tune will be the 3rd of these kits we have tuned each with a considerably different setup.

You guys should offer a BRZedit basemap (editable by the personal version of course) for those of us that refuse to use ecutek

Next Friday we have another one similar to the first car we are tuning. Really we need to get someone with headers to run Methanol so we can see a real apples to apples comparison of meth vs non meth.

We will discuss this in our staff meeting next week. We have never offered e-tunes in the past for any platform for a variety of reasons but a base map may be possible.

That's where stock cars are at on a dynojet. So your numbers would be pretty much the same on a dynojet. Thanks. Great to see others getting 240+ whp without inter cooling.
