I bet your stock clutch was slowing you down. Mine slips when I flat foot shift.

Not entirely true. I can upgrade my blower unit the same as I can swap out a turbo. Vortech has blowers that can run well above 30-40psi.

I've never really seen Joe Consumer buying a supercharger/turbocharger kit at all

Usually they are enthusiasts, and they may have done research and picked out a compressor trim to meet their power goals

This is mostly true.

The biggest difference between the two are "efficiency" ranges which is basically just the powerband plot.

Like you said, two roads to the same awesome destination.

HAL! Get those haltech guys on the ball. These things need some Haltech magic. Took me forever to run through all the cam angle combinations having to flash the dam car after every change.
