And aren't both around the same price. Personally. The ESC has more cool factor than headers.

And can keep the completely pointless posts, like the few above these, to a minimum. This thread is crowded enough without them.
Agreed, we could have been far more constructive without the 500 posts calling me a troll just for not jumping on the band wagon.

The developer really could benefit getting hot on a throttle skewed system that can operate at a below 100% on/off throttle switch. Something scaled directly to throttle input. Then it would be a viable replacement or a step in between NA and the full on FI stuff as it would make usable power in the entire throttle input range.

wasn't this kit always considered a step in between NA and Full FI? I've read no post's that it was even supposed to be compared to Full FI it's not even close to the price of full FI either...

Except for all the posts saying "why buy an overpriced fan on a belt from vortech when you could buy this".

I'm pretty sure it was never the intention of the creator of this charger to have it compete to any other supercharger.. however there is no denying this kit gives alot of WOT performance and fun for the money

Other people have made those assumptions not the designer or I.

We were not expecting the Wot performance that we got honestly. Now he is in the experiment phase to try and get more.

When auto crossing last weekend, I was wot more than a few times.. On the straights, and coming out of turns. If I had a little more juice, I wouldn't have to shift into first for a few seconds then back to second. Yes it really depends on the track.. But with this track that's how I got my times up.

I have an Afe Takeda and I want this kit but I dont want to have to reinstall the stock airbox onto the car...

With my full 2.5 inches exhaust system, intake + Ecutek tune at sea level I'm sure this kit could boost my car from 190WHP to a solid 225-230WHP same numbers as the vortech supercharge kit with Perrin exhaust and Borla UEL header on this video :
Yes after market intake will be a pain. Honestly you are going to get way more gain or of this as opposed to a intake.

If you are willing to chop it up it may be possible to do it or if the intake replace the stock box only you can probably get away with it.

Have you tried the Perrin cold air intake? I bet it would work.

It might sag pretty badly with the weight of the charger pulling it down. It already sags a bit with the stock intake tube. The stock airbox is bolted down.

You could always build supports, but I didnt think the Perrin had much gain anyway's did it?

Then again, after I thought about it. None of the intakes have much gain do they. But any way you could get air to the charger easier should help.

Aftermarket intakes almost certainly won't help. They will increase noise though and to some that might be worth the hassle

Regardless of sound or power. This ARC box would Look Beast with the charger.

I'd say next step to pull this into a packaged product is a mounting bracket, just hanging off silicon is pretty ghetto fab.
