I have dash cam footage from in front of a Walmart that would make you cringe. I was being lazy one day and had to go to Walmart with the wife. I parked a few rows over but pretty close to the front. When we got back to the car we noticed that there was a bag next to my door and I checked the footage when I got home. I realized then that the bag was there when I pulled in, but I never noticed it. However, after I saw what was recorded while I was in the store, I will never park within throwing distance of the front of a Walmart again. Unbelievable the images that my dash cam captured. Fortunately, no damage to the car, but only because I was lucky.

don't throw that massive blue ball paragraph in there and then expect no one to ask for the video to be posted.

You guys are amateurs. I don't even play the parking lot game. I walk from home to wherever I'm going. Screw them parking lots!

I dont have this problem. I've been extremely lucky the last 10+ years, as my car has never really been hit in a parking lot (other than a couple very very minor scratches that i'm sure came from someone bumping it with a buggy or something). I never have tried to park really far back either. But this is my first Brand New car so I have been extra carefull with the FRS.

And luckily I have my own personal parking lot at work now that I transitioned to the Autotech. haha

Curse struck me today.
Took car in for window tint and owner ran my car up on curb completely ruining the paint on the bottom side of the front bumper. Owner said he will send it to a body shop and have it repainted.
They still have my car. Im going over it with a fine tooth comb when they are done. Hopefully no other damage occurs.

Maybe it's different in Texas, but here in Oregon the victim gets to choose where their car is repaired. Since Whiteout is a very difficult to match pearl color, I'd demand a new bumper that will be factory pre-painted and installed by my preferred body shop.

Well I could try and do that I guess but it most likely would be more trouble than it is worth. All the damage is on the underside of the bumper and the only way you can see it is if you lay down on the ground and look at it.

I'm hoping they can just sand and repaint only the bottom part (facing the ground) of the bumper. That way even if the paint is not a perfect match it is no big deal. I just want the chips and scrapes gone so they wont spread.

I have my car back now and am kinda bummed. Not only was my bumper scraped but I am not even that happy with the tint job. Since its a new tint job I cant clean the windows and they are really streaking/blotchy/bubbly and I wont know for a week if it will come out. The cuts on the tint aren't that great either. They said computer cuts but it sure does not look like it and I can see ares around the edge where the cut is off.

So far the window tint idea was a big mistake. Owner is supposed to contact me Monday about bringing my car into a body shop for repair. The body shop is a well known reputable shop (in fact it is the same shop some dealers and insurance companies use) called Craigs Collision.

Someone was kind enough to set off a homemade bomb next to my car while it was in my driveway. Put the shell on my porch so I could investigate in the morning and by the time I wen outside again, they had taken the bombshell. Probably so it couldn't be used as evidence.

Unfortunately parking in an end stall and hugging the end doesn't work. It just gives bad parkers room to park like idiots. From my friends website:
http://yourparkingsux.com/

And to one of the posts, even if the lot is completely empty, don't double park. It breeds I'll will from everyone.
