The new Car curse

It doesn't matter how far from the entrance I park or how empty the lot is. Someone ALWAYS parks right next to my car.

I don't understand this phenomenon. It never fails, and it's always some ratty old truck or car with the greasiest looking owner getting in and out.

I heard that. I'm fairly certain people do it just to spite us. XD

This. I don't usually bother anymore. Now I try to find a parking space where there is only one spot next to me to limit how many people park beside me. I also try to avoid parking next to other coupes (wide door swings) and large SUV's and trucks. Sometimes it just cannot be avoided. I am amazed at how many full size SUV's there are out here..

I like when you park backwards in a spot in the back of an open parking lot and "that guy" feels the need to park backwards in the spot RIGHT NEXT TO YOU. Like we rolled there together or something

Beeeeeetch you don't know me!!

I double park if there will be 0% chance of the lot filling up. If there is limited parking, and I don't want to be an @$$hole, I try and park along a curb or pillar where only one person can park next to me. I park at close to the pillar, curb or w/e as possible so it leave plenty of room for a shitty driver, even Stevie Wonder can park next to me with the gap I leave.

It's the difference between car enthusiast and Prius drivers really.

Saw some dude park next to me and swing his door open :mad0260:
I pissed good thing he didnt do damage.
But I try to park evenly spaced out to reduce any chances of getting hit or if I try to park in spots where where you would only get 1 other person parking next to you and just be close to the edge with no one so I don't get touched.

I do the same thing, the car I traded in had 2 dings on each side from stupid drunk people swinging their doors open into my car... Not going to let this happen again, I park far away, my car and body thanks me lol.

I try to park next to employees. As they don't typically leave.

I park in the exec lot so I don't have to worry about amongst the lexus and mercedes that parks next to me. There was a guy with a nice 2012 STI that I wanted to park next to but you could see that I don't have a tag if I did lol

My car just attracts doors and blind drivers. I now have enough to make PDR worthwhile... :paddle:

got 2 on my driver's door (one being rather large), a nice crease above my left rear wheel, a cracked front bumper, scuffs on my rear bumper, 2 dents on my rocker panels (underside) from a camping excursion, and had my front right fender repaired from someone backing into me.... That's all I can remember right now. I'm sure there's one on my passenger side that I have yet to find.

No matter how I try and prevent it, it still happens.
