You're more than welcome to. It's not something we see everyday; especially on an authentic GT86 from a foreign country.

OK, you asked for it. Especially on the third pic you can see how the spoke bends inwards and the center hub is "flush" with the rim.

And here it is, with the new wheels just fitted and TÜVed (the road legal approval):

Or, if you wanna see more, head to my photobucket.

Cheers

Not try to offend but the gold does apeal to me and it's not because I don't like gold. It's just a shade of gold that I'm not a fan of. I don't like the 4 colors they offer and they put on every wheel. They just stand out in a negative way to me. I could spot a new XXR wheel design without a logo just off of the cheap looking finish. I'm not picky name brand humper either so don't accuse. I am rocking Isis coilovers after all. Haha

Count me as one of these who was literally shocked to see you go with the change in wheels....I really loved your Sti wheels with the white lettered Advan tires.

BUT...damn, I like me some gold wheels, and your WRB really pop with those 527s. I love the setup, and am considering XXRs for my car whenever I finally upgrade to larger wheels.

The paint finish seems to be a recurring criticism that even I as an owner won't refute. But to me it looks sufficient, especially for the price. If high volume production and less than perfect paint save me $1k, I'm all for it. That's enough cash to respray the wheels 5 times over. Just hope they aren't cutting corners in structural integrity. And, so far, XXR has proven that isn't the case.

That flat black set I had really toke a beating on my 240sx. You'll be fine as far as structural integrity. I just couldn't stick a set of wheels on my frs that so many of you are already running.

So it's like the OZ's come with a 200% exclusivity tax (for those not concerned about TUV). Fair enough; I can understand why people might opt for that. I still maintain much of that is "brand engineering." People may also think the Formula HLT have a more subtle/classy Italian-like design.

Hey you did buy a BRZ over an FRS right? What was your reasoning?

Because World Rally Blue. If FR-S came in WRB, I'd probably have it because I like its front bumper more. The extra amenities of the BRZ are a bargain value compared to what it'd cost to add things afterward (which can't be lumped into the financing) but that's not what made my decision. Ultimately, WRB is king above all else. My other car is a similar blue and it's a cheapo Suzuki SX4. People don't understand why I chose that car but my reasoning has similarities with the way I chose XXRs (brand being transparent).

I already got the XXRs. How common are Formula HLT vs. 527 over there?

I read about owners in Europe paying quite a premium to import XXRs. I thought it was silly. Then realized the Japanese might think we're silly for paying ridiculous prices for JDM wheels. Made me realize those Europeans must envy how privileged we are like we do the Japanese. So I decided I'd better capitalize on my blessings!

1. super cool you work for HTC. They are my favorite Android phone maker (I have owned 3 HTC phones...5 if you count 2 I bought and returned rather quickly)
2. the HTC One is amazing and deserves more respect
3. Samsung supplies so many parts for apple it is hilarious, they just use the cheap **** in their own phones.
4. Your car has always been a blue role model to my car.

I don't understand why everyone on here will fork out $400+ for a pair of tail lights, $500+ for a front lip, and die for a pair of gt86 headlights with a Damn led strip for $2400+ but if you buy $2000 wheels you're an idiot?
