driver side is nearly impossible but doable, just gotta move your head around. The passenger side though is easy to see unless someone is riding passenger with the seat back lol. There's no good solution i guess.

This... minus the Ex part. It may make the mirrors less usefull for backing into a spot but that's why I added a backup camera. I have a lot less of a blind spot in this little car than I do in my Tundra.

Sounds overcomplicated. I just get into a position where there's something interesting behind me that isn't overly repetitive (it's real hard to do on like a concrete wall unless there's a distinguishing feature), aim the center mirror, then aim the side mirrors so that they pick up right where the center leaves off. That gets it 90% of the way, and then I can fine-tune it a bit on the road.

I drive a ton of rental cars and it takes me half a minute to do without having to lean around like a goofball.

How hard is a head-check? Maybe as a motorcyclist I just assume everyone does it. Wait, as a motorcyclist I know nobody does it.

It works, too. Saved me a couple of times already. Maybe not as effective as that, but it's free (and legal) lol
This is exactly what you need to do, I have been doing it for 3 years now on everything I drive ( pick up, dad`s jeep, mom`s mini, my 2 civic`s my new fr-s.... and so forth). I learned to use that at racing school. The teachers argument was you need to know whos next to you while racing around a track but dont have time to ``look`` with your whole head, you need to know with your eyes all that is around you.

My whole family laughs at me when they see how I have my mirrors ( when they borrow one of my cars for example) and I keep telling em, dont worry about it, just keep making sure that rest of your car is still keeping up that's whats really important XD!

When I set them all I really do is I put them in a way for when the car leaves my rear view mirror it is now in one of the sides and when it leaves the side mirror its next to me.

Word of caution! the reason this is not taught at driving school is that its possible, if your mirrors aren't perfect, that a bike could hide in the very small blind spot that actually still exist.

gonna try this, I move my mirrors a lot ( always changing seating position plus other drivers have access to my cars or me to theirs lol ) I wish I had a way this fast of setting up XD!

What's terrible is that now they're teaching just the opposite. When I was in driver's ed 4 years ago, my teacher was telling us that you're supposed to see the door handle or something stupid like that. Needless to say, he didn't like being told that he was wrong
