I have that same blue one from Harbor Freight (actually, maybe 3 ton, or 2.5?). I love it. I got it on sale too.

This is also the longest flattest and lowest jack at harbor freight
This is one of the jacks I have. I would highly recommend it. Not something you can toss in the trunk though.

The aluminum HF jacks on the other hand are hit or miss. I've had a few that have lasted years and some that have lasted months. So far no problems with the heavy duty low profile steel ones.

I got this one on sale. Probably one of the best tool purchases I have made.

I can confirm it reaches under the front bumper to the front crossmember jack point without having to drive the front wheels onto blocks or ramps. It also reaches the diff jack point (under the bumper and muffler) after the front has been placed on jackstands (at the standard spots behind the front wheels). At this point, the bumper and muffler are close to the floor, and this jack still does the trick. I can't yet confirm how much clearance there is after the car has been lowered, but I can measure stock clearance as a baseline.
Note the "weighs 102 lbs".
I like the aluminum HF rapid pump jacks. They are light enough to throw in the trunk and bring to the track. The heavy duty jacks are ones you want to just keep in the garage. I think I am on my 3rd HF aluminum jack in 10 years...one I left/donated at my friend's place since I was over there working on cars so often anyways, and the other one actually lost lifting capability after 5 years of heavy-ish use.

Yeah the 102lbs is a bitch... Mine gets rolled around, but it never leaves the floor. lol

This is listed on Walmart's site, but I got it from Amazon a few months ago:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Omega-2902...-Jack/15422345

Built solidly, and works like a champ. Our cars aren't too bad, but this one works on some of the toughest cars from the factory (S2000, Z4/M Roadster, etc.)--I can personally confirm it works just fine on a S2000 (and the front jack point is seriously recessed).

Just picked up the 1.5 ton aluminum jack at Harbor Freight today, it should fit a unlowered FRS/BRZ no problem. I'm lowered and I will need the factory jack thing to raise my car a tiny bit to fit it underneath the front. Seems to work well and its a good price too.

With the prices some of you are quoting you may as well install a hydraulic lift in your garage.

If I had the space I would. My dad has one and it's incredibly convenient to work on stuff. Plus u can park a car under it
