Is 6-SPEED AUTOMATIC WITH PADDLE SHIFTERS the technical term?

Even the font looks bad. Scions website has sucked for way to long. If they are trying to reinvent themselves they need a new website badly. If im going to spend 20-30 K on anything they at least better have a dam good website.

It will all come clean on Monday. Yeah the site sucks but the scion site has sucked for like forever. They just need to get a good web designer.

I'm not an expert in tires, but I'd imagine changing the tires to a staggered setup will dramatically change the vehicle dynamics that are different than the 86's original intent.

After test driving some more the rear end was determined to be too loose probably thanks to the softer springs up front. So they are compensating it by putting more traction on the back. The original tires that were gonna go in the back can still be used on the front for the cars manufactured in the future.

you say its a matter of fact..what testing? what looseness? what sources? im trying to find where you got this via search..

the cars suspension geometry from previous articles says the car provides good performance without needing additional traction from sport tires.

If they wanted more traction, they should have opted for better rubber, IE not Prius tires. Increasing the contact patch in the back will probably slow the car down, rather than help any. And based on test drive reports, it sounds like it doesn't have enough power to really need a 225 rears.

If by going to an aspect ratio of 40mm vs the original 45mm, are they looking for MORE turning response..eg looseness?

Staggard setup from the factory looks like a typo or misinformation...like the rest of the information on that site.

Damn Scion needs to hire some better content writers for the website. Better than before, but still shit. And I think the staggered tires are a typo as well.

I hope the high schoolers updating the web site don't screw up when they post the prices..

Because there's no such thing as a 2012 FR-S. There is a 2013 FR-S though.
