Just noticed the Scion webpage has been updated.

Look like the FR-S is getting wider tires in the rear than the 86

From the spec page:
Not sure if it's an error, I find it odd they changed from 215/45R17 to 215/40R17

If true, this could imply different tires than the Michelin Primacy HP that were on the test cars.

omg... Scion FINALLY moved away from an all-Flash website. Horrendous experience before.

I'd wait until Monday before getting worked up about it; it could be an error.

what are the wheel dimensions? It's a common practice that makers use the same width of wheel all around and put a grade up wider on the rear.

is the 17 all the FRS is going to come with? I prefer the 16's.

Staggered tires, huh.... Another yellow flag (if not red). I am not optimistic about the prices any longer.

Bore and stroke is 86 X 88?

I'm more worried about the 17's being the only. I know the wheels have to be the same width all around.

Come on, base model shit Scion. I don't need gizmo's and flashy wheels i'm going to replace anyway. :brokenheart:

I hope you are right. And I thought they were going to equip this car with 16 inch wheels to keep the cost down, but why did they change it to 17 inch? Oh well, we will know soon enough.....

whoever is updating the Scion site for the FRS should be fired and shot...

To publish a template with so many blanks and typos for the official site is wrong.

I thought the same. It only seems logical that they'd have something to keep the price down.. I guess it's good that i'll wait till' 2013... something will have to break.

Why do they tease me so much! :( I was all excited when I saw the interior dimensions tab, only to find out that there are no numbers. Was praying I would finally be able to know how much front legroom this will have and if I will be able to fit. :(
