With that being said, I've had FA 500s with Swifts for about 8 months now and have been very happy with them. I also autocross and they have served me well. I have them set about midway and also autocross on that setting (I can't remember what it is, haha). One thing: which version of the roller bearings did you get? Is it a blue ring or a silver ring? ![]() Edit: looks like the silver type? |

Ok, wasn't sure if that was just part of the spring or not. I was just wondering because the other type (grey ring) can dry out easily. Not sure how the new design holds up

Why did you go with F500 over Stance?

From what I've seen, shock dynos for FA 500s have been pretty decent for a budget/entry level system. No, they are not the best, I will admit that, but they seem to be just barely better than BC (a comparable product). Not only that, but @FT-86 SpeedFactory autocrosses on FA and have had good success. Ive only seen BC used by people more oriented for drifting and just slamming their car. And in addition, some of my friends personally know the guys at fortune and they are knowledgeable. This only made sense to me to choose them over the other entry level companies. Overall, I've been happy with my purchase since day one. This is just my personal opinion, though. And @loogs, your car might be a tad lower than mine, but what looks good is subjective and its ultimately up to you. I wanted my car as low as it could still FUNCTIONALLY be... I still have to be careful with speed bumps and entry ways, but its not low enough where I have to constantly worry about every pebble on the ground ripping something off. Also, definitely, definitely get an alignment |

I'd raise it first or have them do it, then get your alignment done.
