New Scion e-mail
I've looked at the front two page and saw nothing of the sort. I recieved an email from Scion this morning that said the following.
"Hey Scion FR-S Fans! Scion will be making a very important announcement about the all-new FR-S at the upcoming North American International Auto Show in Detroit and they would like to make sure that you are a part of it. You will receive an email message with details about the big announcement on Monday, January 9th. Please make sure to look out for this message." Along with an email if I had any certain media questions I wanted addressed. I'm thinking they're finally going to announce the price since they've even updated their FR-S site and are now saying Spring 2012 will be the release date. I'm pretty excited. I'm thinking 30k for standard. |

I never got any e-mails about TMS and haven't gotten anything regarding Detroit either. I'm pretty disappointed about the sign up list that Scion had on their website, not really doing much marketing wise with it at all.

30 k!? Standard!? I'm sorry I hope you meant 20k because if the fr s is 30k, no one would buy it. Especially if the BRZ starts at 24

28k-30k USD is a death sentence for this car. Super doubtful that it will reach that high on the premium models.

yeah during the reveal of the fr-s they already stated the first digit in price would be a 2,
I think the market is willing to pay 22-24k for this car's base model. imo. |

I'm going to be a party pooper and do this as if I were betting my real money. Sadly, my prediction is close to the one by edmunds. $24,800. I am not saying I will buy one even at this price, I am just thinking this is the reality. I hope I am wrong, I really do. I am not sure if Subaru is going to publicize the price information at the same time.
