P&L Motorsports Header Back Exhaust came in the mail today!!!

So I decided to buy the P&L Motorsports header back exhaust when I bought my Stage 1 turbo kit from them...just seemed reasonable since all their dyno numbers were achieved with their exhaust.

Anyways it took about 3 weeks for them to build it and ship it so i figured i would show it to you guys.

Sadly I doubt very seriously that I will be doing any dyno runs of just the exhaust vs. stock because I am waiting until the turbo kit is in before I install anything. Now if any local shops would be interested in helping me dyno these parts at a reduced cost I would be more than happy to. Otherwise the cost would be a little too prohibitive considering I only care about base vs. turbo numbers.

Anywho, the exhaust is well constructed, but the welds aren't museum pieces but they aren't bad by any stretch of the imagination. I opted for catless also with just the resonator so should have some bark to them.

Also got some gauges in too, AEM Truboost and UEGO Wideband!!

I will keep this updated once I get it installed for pics of what it looks like on the car should anyone be interested.

Like I said if there are any shops in Phoenix or Tucson that would be willing to work with me on some dyno pulls I would be down for putting these to the test.

How do you plan on mounting up those gauges?

I have no clue yet...waiting on a few design of gauge pods to come out before I decide on a permanent home for them.

The exhaust sounds great, but after 500m the packing settles and it will sound even better. I know Paul has been busy lately with shop work and record setting.

I still need to go in for my overpipe, and intake as soon as they finish a few things.

8.38 in a SCOOBY!! Thats nuts.

I can't wait for my turbo kit to arrive, I am planning on doing a writeup on the whole process, including the clutch, gauges, exhaust, etc.

Here's a short clip of the sound, taken with a point and shoot, but seems pretty good considering!
