The clutch engagement point is harsher than mine (kind of obvious but just to confirm). Even with that, it is not a hard clutch to use. You just need to modulate the RPMs to get it to grab. My clutch is a bit more forgiving. You can slip y clutch more to give you some room as to when to engage. The 6 puck wants to engage as soon as it touches, but again, I was able to drive Chris's car with no issues and the only time it almost died was the first time I let the clutch out but it didn't die. All other instances were smooth.

It's not a bad option at all. It was surprisingly easy to drive after reading a lot of people here complaint that it is so hard to drive.
I think you pretty much nailed it. The pedal pressure is less with the ACT pressure plate when compared to the Clutchmasters. The engagement point is much smaller with a 6 puck clutch than a full face regardless of manufacturer.

There are other options. My recommendation is go back to the OEM flywheel and get an upgraded clutch that works with the OEM flywheel.

I still have my AEM 6 puck with their lightest flywheel. I have the same noises everyone else has, but I have accepted them as having to pay to play. I like knowing I will never have to worry about the clutch slipping, and that I am getting better acceleration with the lighter flywheel.

@King Tut @Sportsguy83, so basically to sum it up....

-Clutchmasters is heavier but more play room so less chance for mistake if not paying attention

-ACT is lighter but more precision is required

good to know. guess ill pay a lil more for more forgiveness when im exhausted from long days. plus still lighter then a GT500 or a Carrera(learned on this 1) and those r both easy. just wonder if it's as useful with a fast engagement wen racing for example

Yes, its as useful racing. Harder pressure plate is what will get your grip. The full face is what helps with the engagement .

Not exactly. Let me outline the options:

ACT has a lighter pedal feel
Clutchmasters has a heavier pedal feel

ACT offers two lightweight flywheel options
Clutchmasters offers one lightweight flywheel option

ACT offers a 6 puck or a full face clutch disk
Clutchmasters offers a 6 puck or a full face clutch disk

ACT clutch/flywheel costs around $600
Clutchmasters clutch/flywheel costs over $800 I believe

I had the ACT full face/street flywheel installed today. i've only driven it a bit, but i like it so far. it feels a lot more precise than the stock clutch, less mushy. the pedal is a little bit stiffer than stock, but not much. the downside is major noise.

I've read terrible things (with pics to prove lol) about spec clutches. I'd stick with act or cm.
