The lines work with the STI calipers, so should the caliper bolts. obviously the caliper pins/pad locking stuff is specific to the caliper and should come with the caliper :P

Hard lines on brakes don't work that well past the wheel wells :P

The brakes belong to a much heavier and powerful car eh? I love this news!!! My RSX have brakes that's more fitting for a yaris or a smart car. It's a pile of crap.

Then you don't know how brakes work.

More pistons does not necessarily mean more braking torque. Rotor diameter and total piston area are key for that. More pistons are used for better feel and pad wear, and sometimes to increase piston area, but not always. These brakes are huge, no doubt about that but this is clearly more of a show car so don't worry about it.

Again on the brakes...I would be wary of slapping on a set calipers designed for Subaru since they will be backwards and you'll have nasty uneven pad wear due to the differential bores. It may be possible to do it the right way and swap the hardlines and bleeders around but I have never needed to try.

This is a car put together in a limited amount of time and I wouldn't put too much thought into why they did what they did. 19 inch wheels and big ass brakes look good and they had some laying around....that's all. A wheel spacer/hub conversion for this particular car wouldn't surprise me. And honestly kudos to them for putting this car together in a week....that's pretty darn impressive.

What this car means is that off the shelf coilovers and camber plates "fit" which is helpful for development. It looks like the lengths might need to be adjusted but their set is adjusted a little low so maybe they're the same. Valving and spring rates should be changed obviously.

Exactly. Better feel translates to more ability to modulate, so I usually just say better modulation, but same difference

Rotor diameter at least will increase with any of the brake upgrades being discussed. I think one potential (and cheap) upgrade may be Legacy GT fronts (12.4" rotors) and an adapter to move the calipers out, or LGT caliper brackets using the BRZ calipers, or LGT calipers, I believe the piston sizes are the same on those so they should be L/R swappable sliders that way. Any upgrade may be pointless for anything besides looks though on any remotely stock power level track car.. and for every street car.

someone said the STI used internal transfer tubes so unless they have a provision for the bleeder on either end (some calipers do, some don't as I'm sure you know) then the STI "upgrade" may not be all that ideal.

Good and bad.. good in that it makes development easier, bad because some less-than-stellar companies will just slap a "BRZ" or "FRS" sticker over the "WRX" sticker and sell them as a "tuned system".

my bet is on factory..
why would greddy, which only had one week.. do seats, head rests, steering wheel, dash insert, shift boot, brake boot? .. that steering wheel really looks factory to me.. they are a performance company, why even touch the interior?

the seats (and the seats only) are a custom upgrade done by GReddy. there's a video where Kenji Sumino (GReddy pres) talks about this.

btw, take the youtube code out of qoute to get the video to show.
