Pulse P3 Lithium Ion battery in Evasive's FR-S

The Pulse P3 has won more drag races than all other lightweight batteries combined. Used by champions like Rickey Gadson, Ryan Schnitz, and Adams Performance, the Pulse P3 is the perfect battery for big displacement, high compression vehicles.

The P3 works well in large displacement V-Twin motorcycles as well, providing up to 360 cranking amps to tame the most stubborn vehicles. It is also a good choice for adventure touring motorcycles which might need more capacity than a Pulse P2.

Weighing just 1000 grams (2.2lbs) the Pulse P3 will save 28lbs from a stock battery!! while providing nearly twice the cranking capability. We have Tested this battery on our own FR-S Pikes Peak car which is running 2 Oil Pumps and Fuel Cell.

Any negatives running as a daily driver?

Are you guys going to sell as a kit or sell mounting hardware?

No problems I see this running on a Ford F-350 truck no problem at all as a daily driver.

If you want to add it you can.

Thanks, was thinking of picking something up small for the track anyways but daily duty would just be easier. OEM battery is ridiculously heavy.

What kind of battery is this internally? If you accidentally kill it, will it come back to life?

Thanks Randy!

Where are these numbers from? As close as I can tell the stock battery weighs 18lbs (a savings of 16) and rated at 325 CCAs, which means probably 400 cranking amps.

Stock battery weighs approx 13.2 kilos, approximately 29 pounds which is within error of the quote weight of the OP.

lol. the pricing is wacky. I "save" $14.45 by paying more than the msrp. From what I can gather, the P3 is $250-$270 shipped from online bike supply stores.

Well, if you have to get every pound off the front, this looks like the way to go. However, a nice cheap motorsport battery will save lots of weight.

We offer free shipping for FT86 members. Most places won't even stock these.
