for serious update, apparently theres gonna be no red stitching or red accents, so its an all black interior (unless this was just a Scion thing vs a BRZ/GT86 and not a Canadian thing).

Which i dont mind too much, as long as theres some silver trim or something to break up the blackness.

I didn't mind the red stitching. I wasn't a big fan of the red patches on the seats though. Probably rather be done with the stitching and the patches than be stuck with them both.

Think I read elsewhere this is not a Canadian-specific feature, that in fact the red stitching/accents are only on the Scion prototypes, they will not be on any NA FR-S.

I also remember watching a video where the Scion rep said that the CDN version won't get the red stitching.

I think they brought the US version to the Toronto Auto Show and the rep cleared that up.

I am hoping they put in seat warmers - easy way to make the higher msrp more tolerable and the take rate for Cdn is higher.

Actually it wasn't the production US version - I saw a photo of the key fob with "prototype" printed on it.

For the Canadian 10 Series. The new standard 6.1" Touchscreen Pioneer for the US does not come with it. Canadian 10 Series does get security system though compared to US. Canada does not also get a glowing solar shiftknob, not that that matters much.

Old news, but the Canadian version gets both carpet and rubber floor mats standard, as well as mud flaps.

The BRZ in Canada doesn't have TPMS.
Nav/radio unit is not the same model between Canada, and the US.
The ipod jack is inside the glove box in Canada, in the US, it's under the HVAC controls
