ofcourse if he understood he would know that you don't need the same velocity of air when you have DI, and that you aren't relying on natural velocity for chamber filling above boost threshold, but that it is actually desirable to reduce the restriction of the heads...but then again he is a "guru" according to some...

@Frs300 I am glad to hear the motor is almost done, I saw that you had the heads nicely p&p and new valves. Did you use aftermarket cams? Where did you get them?

Good luck getting a response. Usually appears to drop a seed of argument/discussion but rarely comes back. Exhibit A, thread called "Stock AISSIN Transmission Power Capacity".

I can look at those and know. I've already been there and done that. Theres a certain thing touched in that picture that will hurt the velocity. I'm sure the flow will go up, but at what expense.
