Yup. 90 days after the conviction you lose it for 7 days. Ridiculous. If they let you off with the minimum ticket, there is no suspension, but it's still over $250 to pay the fine. So if I get a ticket over the miminum (which they can give at, I believe, 11km over the limit) I'm out over $1500. If I'm in uniform I'll probably get let off or reduced to the minimum, but I have to be very careful where I choose to have some fun.

Not sure why you don't want to believe it, but 10% change in cog all else being equal can be barely felt from the drivers seat by even the most talented drivers. If significant enough, it can sometimes (but often not) be seen in lap times. Typically it's a tiny improvement and unless seconds over an hour is significant, cog is a gimmick. Subaru advertisments playing up cog are a gimmick. Subaru adds that lead you to believe that it is primarily becuase of the boxer engine are an outright lie (Any 3rd year mechanical engineering student can sit down run the calcs and confirm that)

the gen coupe isn't all that great. My 04 STi put those in shame in autox and on canyon roads.

I had a 3.8 GenCoupe with every option. Much like when I bought a G35 Coupe new back in '04, I really liked it. However, as time went on the little issues piled up. Still a decent car for the money, but definitely suffering from an identity crisis.
The BRZ just felt so much more defined as a sports car. It tries to be nothing that it isn't. And that's exactly what I like so much about it.

I said it before and ill say it again;
You can alway add power to a good chassis. But you can't add a good chassis to power

Amen. The Subaru Engineer said the exact same thing. Tuners will always modify the heck out of their cars, but it's the job of the manufacture to make the base and chassis as good as possible. Something that can't be modified.

How many Corvette LS2 have been put in a Genesis chassis? on another note, I parked WAY out in a parking lot tonite, and when I was leaving, a Genesis was waiting for my "don't ding me bro" spot. Nonetheless I gave him a thumbs up, and he returned it. I enjoy all cars, but chose to drive the BRZ after much consideration. The reason I chose BRZ:
