No I'm serious I actually welded my exhaust onto the drive shaft causing it to rotate and welded my intake onto my throttle body.
I was just jk'n about that just wanted to see how many laughs and wtf I'd get from it. Lol
No but other than that, I was serious about the headers. So just give me a short answer yes or no. This the first car I've ever purchased, my first car ever actually. And I'm damn proud I'm working my butt off for it.

Yep, just weld the new headers onto the old ones and you should be set .

Short answer is no, absolutely not. There is no reason to do this for your application, even if you are going FI, unless you are driving a truck or motorhome. There is a reason that they include flanges with pre-drilled holes for bolts.

I am thinking of picking up a plastic welder so I can just weld cold air directly to my stock airbox. Cold air on-tap under all conditions. My only question is whether air cooled by air conditioning will work or if I need to wait for winter.

ok, end of fun.
@Frsexxxy seriously though - do not spend ANY money on ANY mod unless you really know what exactly each mod is, how it works, how it is installed, how well it plays with other mods, and what it will do to your car. Even the guys who modded their cars themselves and know a lot about it do make mistakes - it seems that @Sportsguy83 is about to get his 3rd radiator). Do a lot of research yourself (google is your friend) and ask the right people right questions - start with ODs here, they sell the staff, they know a lot about it. It is OK to ask uneducated questions, but it's not really OK to ask stupid questions, there is a difference.

I used Gorilla Glue for all my exhaust parts. Best and cheapest way to do it. Be sure to hold the pipes for 4 hours by hand for it to really settle.

To be honest, you should research and search a lot more. Probably the amount of time I research and learn is 99% while the last 1% is actually buying and installing the item. I have no idea where you came up with the welding idea but if everyone is installing without welding it on, then there's usually a good reason for that.

I don't feel like bashing you if you're trolling or not. I remember back in 2001 when I first got my license the first thing I did was ask honda-tech how much money it will cost to put S2000 taillights on an EG Civic and how to make it RWD. At the time it sounded like a great idea but i'm glad I researched/learned

I heard Martha Stewart uses her hot glue gun all over her exhaust ports when she was playing with headers.

I am not on my 3rd radiator because of mistakes but test fitting them with AVO kit, and so far 0/2.

On topic, I am on pain killing meds coming off eye surgery, and my head exploded about 4 times reading this thread LOL. WHAT THE F*CK!

Sounds like you didn't weld your AVO manifold to the block properly.

My fifth head explosion was when I realized the radiators are not fitting because of it. I will goo gone the current welds and try again with play dough.
