This. If you can figure out a way to weld aluminum to steel then you are going to be a very rich man.

I have never, EVER, seen someone weld the headers to the head.

Also, since our heads are aluminum and headers are not, welding isn't an option.

i have a guilty pleasure reading this thread, i'm addicted as i keep on hitting f5 like every 10 mins. but this has got to stop, i am at work and trying to hold on from falling onto floor rolling and laughing is getting harder and harder.

@Frsexxxy if this thread is not for fun and you are serious, you have got to do a lot of reading. people on this forum do expect you to know basics, the more so since you are doing any kind of mods. and if you don't, pls RTFW (W => web, aka internet)

Oh he's serious alright. Look at his thread history. This is probably his first time modifying a car.

If you end up going this route, please please pretty please post some pictures. I'm sure there are people on this forum who...ummm...want to make sure...the welds are tight.

I actually just crawled under my FR-S and my header is welded to the heads from the factory. I wasn't expecting that.

If I want to upgrade, will I just have to weld the new pipes onto the ones already welded to my heads?
