Hi everyone. My name's Sean and I have leased an ultramarine, manual, FR-S, that I'm going to pick up on Friday or Saturday of next week.
This site (and especially ruskymx) has been great as I try to hunt down the best deal for myself. |

Hello world
I'm Ralph from Northern Virginia (USA). I'm not 20, nor 30 anymore but this is my first NEW car. Yeah i guess you can call it middle age crisis When people ask me why I bought this car and I start telling them about rear wheel drive, boxer engine, low center of gravity, precise steering, low body roll, etc. and the go I just tell them it is a BMW on the cheap and we're all happy.Happy driving

Hello all
Im Steve & Im from NOVA ( northern Va ) Ive had my FRS since last june and it's my daily driver (so she wear's her scar's proudly) on the beltway and 66 . Ive always had truck's but this is the 1st manual coupe Ive ever had so Im enjoying it every day. After having had a 1978 camaro, Dakota 4x4,impala SS,trailblazer,Tacoma Prerunner this car is hands down the funnest after the Tacoma. All Ive done to her are throw in some PIAA's extreme white's low beam's & a grimmspeed tag bracket kit ( worth it ) ![]()

Hi All,
My name is Eric and I just purchased my new FR-S on June 12th. Asphalt grey, auto. Love this car and can't believe all the looks I get. I am glad to see they are not a dime a dozen like the WRX, mustangs etc. |

Hello,
My Name is Jon, i live in North Fort Worth. Just drove off the lot of Grapevine Toyota to pick up my new baby Fiona (Base model Argento). Coming from a 2004 xA, i do have a small list of things I'll be doing to the car in the future (exhaust, intake, lipkit, spoiler and wheels). But so far I'm loving every second of it! I did get the AT, paddle shifters is just too geeky that i had to get it. And well i want anyone in my family to able to drive it in a emergency situation. Wanted to go stick but I'd just have way too much fun with it . But the shifting on the AT has been great, can't wait to break the 1K mark .

Hi there,
I've had my eyes locked on the 10 Series for quite a while now. As I kept searching for information the past few months, this forum ended up being the most reliable go-to source for new information. I guess you could actually say this was the culmination of years and years of waiting. As long ago as 2008 there was a rumor that the tC was due for a major overhaul. I was initially content with waiting for this rumored tC. After a year or so it became evident that it wasn't going to be a tC, but a brand-new model of something - but nobody knew what. So I waited a couple of (long) years and finally the FR-S was unveiled. After spending year upon year chafing in my whopping 108 hp 2005 xB, I couldn't WAIT to buy an FR-S. But then out of nowhere, I remembered the voice of my grandfather from years ago telling me never to buy the first year of a brand-new model car. "Let 'em fix all the bug,s THEN buy one." So, I forced myself to reject the desire of every bone in my body and waited a year...a very painful, impatient year. And I gotta say, there wasn't a lot wrong with the initial run of the FR-S. But then, the 10 Series was announced. After recovering from passing out in sheer ecstasy, I realized my long five-year wait was finally over. That being said, I finally found a dealer who actually knew what they were talking about, put down a deposit, was given a VIN#, and am now counting down the final few days 'til my baby arrives. And I gotta say, the next two weeks seem like they're going to be longer than the past nine years I've had this xB. Anyway, I have to say I've been extremely impressed by the level of activity and knowledge on this forum and I hope to be able to contribute back in kind before too long. Thank you everyone! |

New owner of a white FR-S. Took my baby home on 06/10/13. I was looking at a second hand 350z and instead chose a new FR-S. im completely noob when it comes to car parts and lingos so hopefully i can learn some interesting infos in this forum. looking to do some minor modding here and there mostly the lights and emblems.
