Your still able to clear those 10s w/ just fender massaging? What size tires & offset? Any contact areas?

did you have to mod the full blown rad at all to work with the fa20club turbo kit?

The front just needs a healthy amount of negative camber and a roll..maybe a slight pull. I was getting some slight rub right at the reflector and at rear corner where the frame rail seam is. I ended up trimming the seam a little and all is good now. Don't forget I'm running "race" spec coilovers (that means very firm).

On the rear substantial roll and pull because you don't want to run too much static negative camber. I'm really not that low so I can get away with it and the flares hide the fact that I'm not low.

I did not mod the radiator to make it work with the FA20Club kit. It doesn't really fit properly together as it's an extremely tight fit together but we got it to work.

The OEM fans are within about 2 mm of the turbo flange so slim fans are ideal. We simply used a ton of heat protection and surprisingly the fan shroud has not melted.

We had to rotate/clock the turbocharger higher than normal to clear the radiator so we had to trim the underside of the radiator support to now clear the charge pipe and even so the bottom clamp touches the radiator shroud.

It the world I deal in, this was all minor adjustment to make something so essential (a big radiator) fit!

Ha ha no, they were entertaining, but I passed out about 9 pm from some spiked lemonade concoction in the pits

We actually had to leave to go get my race trailer and come back tso I could handle business on the track Sunday. Handle it we did taking another win.

"I don't know...this Hydra EMS powered, BC Suspension FRS just keeps winning."

We spent the day really sorting the car out again as the roll cage added a new dynamic to the chassis. It wasn't just the extra weight but the stiffness transmits a lot more movement to the suspension now. When we got her dialed, bam the lap time dropped! Had I known I was so close to the track record for TT2 I would have gunned for it since it was only a few tenths away.

Loving this car so far!

Thanks,
Phil Grabow

Hey Phil, Which cage is that? Something custom or bolt in?

Loving seeing this thing flying in FI trim.

It's an Autopower Race Roll Bar I had rush ordered. I wish I had a little more time to install and uninstall so I could have cut a hole in the rear side panels and fitted them. A well designed cage fits very tightly amd this one does so I wasn't keen on removing it I do drive this on the street and if anyone will with this cage give yourself extra time to fit the panels because the road noise is massive without.

I'm just about 6'2" and the cage hasn't hindered how I like my seat while racing or on the street.

Yeah I chatted with a few old friends in the Ford tent...was good to catch up. As for adding to the list I can relate, I'm been buying plenty to accelerate development of other products. Sometimes you just realise other companies have done a good job and it's easier and faster to use their products

We can knock huge chunks of lap time off with a few tweaks to the suspension and brakes. I will likely toss out some big dyno numbers just to show the capabilities of the Hydra but I plan to continue developing the car at moderate power. I know another company that plans on some massive power with the Hydra so I'll do what I can to help those guys along.
