One Bad MoFo Time Attack FRS!

We are no longer racing against NA FRSs and BRZs it's time to step up to the Unlimited Class! Having to face highly modified Corvettes and Vipers I knew we had step things up quickly with our FRS and we did it in two weeks!

Aero improvments had to wait untilwe boosted the motor since most tracks the aero drag would slow the car more than it would help. I used the Flucrum wing off my Sti race car and fabbed a new mounting system for the FRS.

I had run the Hydra EMS at Road Altana in NA form but by the time we finished installing the FA20Club turbo kit I had one day/night to tune the Hydra to turbo power and a new fuel system. A healthy does of power was needed to compete with some big bore cars!

Me being a goof off

The Element Tuning Scion FRS/Subaru BRZ takes on the Whelen US TT championship with NARRA at NJ Motorports. On it's first outing takes the win running a 1:29.4 with a little drama.

Hydra EMS stand-alone ECU, Element Tuning custom valved and sprung BC BR Coilovers, Whiteline Front Sway bar and Transmission bushing, Element Tuning Competition Catch Can, FA20Club 60 Trim Turbo Kit, Clutch Masters Clutch, Full Blown Radiator, Fulcrum Wing Custom Front Splitter, 18x10 wheels on slicks

Here are two videos, one in car and one from an earlier session being followed during our setup races.

We'll have the car at Hyperfest/Summit Point this weekend, and then the next race after that is at VIR in July.

Purely functional. Look at how massive the DF is:

Bent both eye hooks, broke the welded on brackets on the intercooler (I was bolted to the bottom of the IC, and bent the two bolts in the back that bolted it to the frame.

To get by we pulled the cable through the two hook and then the cable just snapped. LOL! Fixing that tonight.

Ha ha you need a big splitter to balance out a big wing Needless to say the splitter has proven to provide substantial downforce.
