We have prototype sets installed on the Raceseng development car and Eric Simmons autoX car. We are doing our due diligence with testing to ensure a sound product. I will be posting updates in this thread as we get closer to production. Thanks much!

A few more questions if I may:

1. What is the drop in height from stock?
2. If I was to order for stock struts with aftermarket springs, can they be used again if I end up going down the KW V3 route?
3. The final finish, will it be black/orange only? What about clear anodised?
4. How is the testing so far on simmon's car?
5. How is the testing so far on your own shop car?

We are working on rear strut tops right now. They will give a much needed increase in shock travel!

My responses are in orange under your questions.
A few more questions if I may:

1. What is the drop in height from stock?

I would have to measure the drop in height from stock but remember that as of now these can't be used with stock front struts.

2. If I was to order for stock struts with aftermarket springs, can they be used again if I end up going down the KW V3 route?

These can only be used with aftermarket coil overs right now. We are custom machining the upper and lower spherical bearing bushing to work with whatever coil overs our customers have. We have a form designed We are working on a spring perch, upper/lower bushing that will accept the stock strut.

3. The final finish, will it be black/orange only? What about clear anodised?

Offering a variety of anodizing options is a nightmare from an inventory standpoint. They will most likely have the following finishing: Black anodized camber/caster plate, orange anodized spring perch and electroless nickel plated steel components.

4. How is the testing so far on simmon's car?

Eric gained 3/4" travel over his MSI plates and the testing is going well. He was competed and won in multiple AutoX events with the plates. Feel free to PM Eric, he will give you an honest non-biased opinion of our caster/camber plates.

5. How is the testing so far on your own shop car?

I put 1,500 miles on the car so far and they are as quiet and smooth as they were from the get go. When load is taken off the front wheels, the caster and camber is effortless to adjust.

They are Awesome so far, NO noise at all

I even had them on last week when I was driving on Long Island NY, some of the worst roads I have ever been on. They held up fine.

Very easy to adjust caster and camber compared to other tops I have used.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Simmons

Although I am in Australia, would be in for a group buy. Any chance you would make such an option available for this forum?

My question is will I be able to put these on top of the RCE Tarmac 0s?

I am a car suspension newb, been wrench on my Runner for years though.

What would the assembly look like from top to bottom? Top mount, .....,spring/coilover? What goes in-between?

A group buy will be hard because we need to custom machine the upper nut and lower bushing per each set of coil over requests we get.

We will machine spring perches for 2 1/2", 2 1/4" and 60mm springs. That will cover all the springs on the market.

The parts that we will machine per coil over are the upper nut and lower bushing. See attached section view for your reference.

Would these work with RCE Tarmac 0's? Given that the Zeros are based off the KW3's. Thanks.

Incredibly interested in these camber plates. I'm looking to pick up a set of AST 4150's as soon as they are available. Will there be any testing done to ensure compatibility?

We have the design and machining capability to make our cc plates work with any coil over set up. I believe AST has some basic dimensioned prints of their shocks on their website, that would be a great place if you can find one of your coil over set up.

Please feel free to email me at jarrett[at]raceseng.com if you find the print.

If you can't, we made a strut shaft form that you can fill in with dimensions. Either way, we can make it happen!

I didn't see this question asked yet, do these require any trimming of the strut towers to work? I know some plates on some cars require trimming the tower to get any adjustment range.
