Running lean at high RPM

Just want to ask you guys for help.

My 2013 BRZ went on the dyno the other day for a tuning session. My tuner found out that my car was running lean at high RPM (around 5K to redline). He tried correcting it but the car would not respond.

From what I've read, it could be caused by a dirty/loose MAF sensor, problem with the intake.

Any of you experience this before? What could be causing this?

List of modifications are pretty basic:
AVO drop-in filter
VDS headers, overpipe and front pipe
Greddy CTS V2
roadtuned using BRZedit

Thanks in advance.

Late update but maybe this will help someone...

In my logs I noticed that the car started going lean when PI was being cut off at around 5k in favor of DI only. The cause of my problem according to my tuner was a bug in ecutek where it was cutting off fueling when using DI only, so he ended up blending PI and DI all through the WOT range while still mostly using DI for max performance. This solved my issue.
