Unless you are leaving off the 25mm spacers.
You haven't stated what width of wheels you are running...

I think you'll be okay with a 35 offset on a 8/8.5" wheel, but keep the spacers off.

Here is pics of mine with 18x9 +35 and they poke slightly, but depending on the viewing angle they look flush.
ProKit springs have been installed and crash bolts on front, but alignment will be done shortly. No rubbing at all so far (4 days since spring installation).

I just picked up some 18x8 +45 TSW Nurburgrings. I Don't know sh*t about tires really, can someone suggest some good low profile tires?

Forum members tend to have the Hankook v12 evo 245/35, and I like the look of low sidewalls (I don't race or auto X).
225/40 18 (Continental DWs or Goodyear Asymmetrical 2)was the size recommended from a tire guy... Help?

I would recommend the Continental Extreme Contact DW in a 245/35R18.
I have them on my 18x9's and they look a bit stretched so they should look good on an 8 inch wheel.
But 225/40's are a good size too, both these are same diameter as stock. The 235/40 from Conti is too tall.

Looking at 18x8.5 with +47 offset, square set up with 245/35x18 tires. Looking to eventually get Ohlins coils to bring the car down about an inch. Will I have issues with this set up?

They'll fit the wheelwells but the tires are too tall. Stick to a 245/35 or if not available, go down in width.

Check the diameter and revs/mile for the tire brand you are looking at versus the OEM at 24.7" and 844. Anything above 825 revs will get you pretty damn close to OEM size. Tirerack is a good resource for this info.

My Conti 245/35s (revs/mile 838) are less than half a km per hr difference at 100km/h, so virtually no difference at all.

That tire is a whole inch taller in diameter than OEM.
So you will lose acceleration due to higher gearing from the tires.
And your actual speed will be 4.3% higher than what is indicated.

Depending on the weight of the wheel/tire combo you may lose additional acceleration from the extra weight. Always keep this in mind when running a plus-size set.
