16 or 32 bit ECU? Should I lean the air if....
Do we have a 16 Bit ECU or 32 Bit ECU? The reason I ask is because the IAM (Ignition Advance Multiplier) has a range of 0-1 for 32bit ECU's vs 0-16 range for a 16bit ECU. Just wanted to know what to expect when datalogging.
Also, since my car is bone stock running a Stage 2 EL map on E85 fuel...can I be "expecting" to decrease my g/sec values when trying to do a MAF Scaling. My logic of thinking is since I'm pumping less air, compared to a car with intake/ exhaust performance parts, the values from Shivs map would be higher since the Stage 2 map had aftermarket parts which are essentially moving a lot more air than stock setup right....so the g/s (grams/sec) values should be less right? |

32 bit ecu
Maf scaling is calibrating the maf flow, this o nly cganges if you change maf housing , ie change intaje See coloured links below |
