You mention that you are successfully running an aux charger, is it this model or something else?

Thanks again for more insight,

Yes, you run this in parallel with the controller. Both will charge the system.

The controller still has a possibility of entering the thermal protection modes but it significantly increases the time it takes to enter those modes.

As for my aux charger? No, I don't have this one. Rob used to make them and about 8-10 of us are running them. They even tied into the controller.

I think due to cost and time he saw that these do the same for a lot less.

I'm going to track my car soon at PBIR and I wonder if the ESC will hold up. Gonna suck if I have to run NA. Might look into the aux but does anyone have experience with it on track sessions?

It was probably wheel hop as I did a dry burnout. Then bogged even after a 4k launch.

14.2 @ 99.5. Too warm kills performance I have done much better in cool weather. I also was only 2.3 on the 60 ft.

No luck with a new map for the oft. It's aggressive already per shiv. Ask shiv for a download of the esc tune.

I only know Phantom ESC+E85 which is right about 5 seconds with a hard launch on decent tires.

Range should be 4.8 to 5.2. When I did my runs I wasn't using precision equipment, but I'm guess it was on the low end of that scale.

Be interested to see the afr and ignition advance on the OFT compared to my Ecutek tune.

On 93 pump gas I'm at 11.8 afr and 22 degrees. E85 is 12.x afr and timing high 20's not sure exactly.

I assume the OFT is probably made to work with 91 pump.

e85.

My guess is that pump gas will put you in the ~5.2 - 5.5 ish range with a hard launch and decent tires. Primacy's will probably cost you a couple of tenths above that.
