Middle Tennessee, apparently our elevation is >600

I went to Gage Performance since they're literally like 5 minutes from my house.

If you live out in the Lebanon area there's redstar performance they have a Mustang dyno there I was told Dyno Dynamics and Mustang Dyno read VERY close and are both known as "heartbreakers"

Did anyone get installation instructions with theirs? I know I can do it on my own with a DIY guide but I'm a sucker for actual manufacturer instructions because I'm super anal about making every install perfect.
I mainly ask because I got more attachment hardware than I was expecting.

no instructions with the box. I didn't use all the hardware supplied with mine. it's nice they gave you a lot of bolts and nuts and stuff though. I recently lost one (connected overpipe to front pipe) at the track (guess it wiggled loose) and the bag had plenty of replacements

One question on everyone, just installed mine. And there's one bolt that I had a hard time to tighten. Its the bolt that is closest to the oil pan. Its a tight space and I feel that it will come loose in the near future. What tool did you guys use to get into the tight space?

some people have used a u-joint or a crows foot. I used a 14mm deep socket with an extender, though I was very careful with the deep socket since it would not sit completely flat. I used a 6 inch extender with the deep socket to clear the header pipes.

though, I need to find time to get under my car and check all the bolts/nuts since after a track day, it sounds like I have an exhaust leak somewhere.

Alright! I pulled the trigger on one of these and an OFT, I can't wait to hear all of the rumbles. I've got a heat-related question - I ordered the oil pan heatshield, should I wrap the header as well or will that keep things cool enough in a Colorado summer?

Just installed & flashed to stage 2! It's great! A lot quieter than I expected on the stock exhaust. Maybe after driving with an N1 my ears have been damaged LOL

Anyways I have that ticking/hissing/puttering noise under load that other owners have claimed as well. Did it eventually go away?

I used a standard size socket, a universal joint, an extension, and a torque wrench. The normal socket wasn't deep enough to let the universal joint insert fully. If I tried a deep socket, it wouldn't fit because it was too long. I just made sure to line things up carefully so that the universal joint wouldn't come out of the socket and torqued the nut to 22 ft/lbs.

should be good to go, but a wrap will help keep additional heat out!

Might wanna do it before you install it lol...laziness kicks in

I got my headers ceramic coated to keep the heat from getting into the engine bay, and to protect it from salt NJ uses on the roads during winter.

who's still carrying these headers? They seem to have vanished from a lot of the bigger stores on here.
