If ecu has ecutek tune in it it may prevent dealer from accessing ECU and hence he may not be able to security code system you can i believe swap out all 4 components in the security set ie dash/ecu/imobiliser and key fobs from a donour car, but if you change any of those components by themselves they need to be coded in. |

I've also ordered a cam position sensor. What threw me off was that the Mitsubishi logo was on the sensor I bought from the dealer..... It is quite confusing to me. Have you ever seen the cam position sensors?

My guess would be if you see a large difference between intake or exhaust cams between the two banks then something is wrong.The big problem seems to be working out which component is at fault. The TSB has a complete proceedure to follow. |
