Replaced the ECU, no problems so far.
Yes 2013.

This is a common problem (apparantly) and mostly is taken care of by the ECU being replaced by the dealer

Uhm.... I'm not ENTIRELY sure... because it's a sensor and could have failed from the factory... but I am also guessing that the car has been tuned and they wont replace ur ECU under warranty because of the kit.

Correct. He said it could just be the ECM That's lagging. So I figured I'd just order the newer ECM which they have since then been putting in the newer car. I was about to order a sensor, but the mechanic told me it could just be the ecm.I will order that and swap it out myself. The mechanic was extremely cool about it.

The physical ecu swap will be easy.
But the new ecu needs to be coded into the security system by dealer

And you old ecu will likely have been tuned with ecutek so locked and your ecutek licience is embedded in old ecu so your going to need to sort that out with your tuner/ecutek.

How am I suppose to code it into the security system? Ok, so let's say I take off the battery, take out the old ecu. Then put it in the new ecu..what next? I have a flash tune for my car. Can I just download the tune into the car before I turn it on?

Only a dealer will be able to code the new ECU into the security system. The ECU/DASH/Imobilser module/key fobs are a security set

After they have done that your going to need to flash your turbo tune into ecu.

Im assuming its ecutek , if so your going to need and ecutek cable/dongle to flash the tune.

also you cannot flash an ecutek tune to an ecu that does not have an ecutek licience.

your either going to have to buy a new ecutek licience or talk to your tuner/ecutek about proceedure to transfer your licience to new ecu.
