Catch Can Applications for FI
So I've been looking around, during my turbo kit browsing, at catch cans.
Is there no way around using a dual catch can design? I know the AVO "breather tank" has two inlets for PCV and crankcase, but is there another catch can design like the Radium that uses a two inlet top? Furthermore, is there any detrimental effect to only using one catch can? If so, which one provides the biggest safety factor to the engine (i.e. catches most blow by)? I'm a little floored by the ~$400 price tag for the Radium dual setup, not that they aren't tracked tested and all, just that no other system that I've found is cheaper than that with the two inlets (other than the AVO which won't fit mine). |
