I have had luck with very aggressive fueling on propel e85 cranking. Every time I back off, it doesn't start well. Pm me your email address and I will send you what I have.

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but i havnt seen it. Im trying to familiarize my self with the tunes while i wait for my OFT, and i noticed it has a value for catalyst warm up, but its all zeroed out. Is the crazy loud valve over lap thing disabled in this tune. If not has anyone found a way to disable it? i dont mind 1500+ rpm idle while warming up but that 20 or so seconds of insanity has got to go!

I couldn't believe that pushing the accelerator LOWERS the IPW during cranking (causing less fuel to be injected). The fact that it helps things get started makes sense after I did some research on e85 and its flash point, it made much more sense. It isn't a smooth progressive scaling for the IPW for e85 that is need, it is more like, like scaling from 30-50 degrees, a little bit more fuel down to about 10, and then things need to get aggressive.

Sup guys
I finally made my decision and chose the OFT over ecutek. I've done my homework and read all the FAQs and lots of threads about it, but I still have a doubt: will I be able to find a tune that suits my needs between the "off the shelf" tunes? I really have no idea of how many tunes are offered... ![]() Cheers |

The regular Stage 2 UEL Tune will work for you, it just needs to match your CAL ID. 95 in Italy is like 92 here in the US if I remember correctly.

@shiv@vishnu,
I have a question for you. I was talking to a local wheel & alignment shop and they mentioned that as part of the alignment they do a steering position sensor calibration, and that led me to ask whether that calibration info is stored in the same area of the ECU as is being reflashed (whether by OFT or Ecutek or other means). The shop owner/alignment did not know where that info is stored. But he said that the steering position sensor definitely is important to have calibrated, since it is tied into how the traction and stability control functions. And since the calibration is unique to each vehicle, it's something I'd worry about being overwritten using an OTS tune ... any ideas on whether that is an issue or not? Thanks.
