This was after the computer had about 3-4 tanks of E85 to learn. At cruising and low load and low maf voltages the LTFT sweeps through the 3%-12% range. At high load and high MAF voltages the trims are low, mostly below 1% and AFR is pretty much spot on. Little on a the rich side, but I think that was intended. the OTS tunes are constantly improving. Very nice job Vishnu team!
Looks great. FWIW, we targeting a bit richer AFR no that we used to with the E85 maps. Turns out that running them a bit richer doesn't hurt power at all. So running mid 12s in the midrange, enriching to high 11s by 7500rpm is expected and desired. So I'd say things are running as intended. Glad you are enjoying the OFT ad our tunes

Cheers,
shiv

Shiv, curious if you want me to test any of the 1.5 tunes for the phantom that you have developed. Or do you want me to wait until you come down?

I can send you the new OTS map for the Phantom SC in .dev format. Same one I sending to other Phantom SC owners. And same one I've been running in our own shop car (with the TQ300). Here's what it did on the dyno with the OFT/OFH combo. Higher hp run is with the TQ300. Lower power run is with the TQ250. Still a bit left in there I think. Hoping to squeak out whatever is left on the table when I pay a visit to your school dyno later this month. Would be great to be able to test in multiple cars, on the same day, with no time constraints!

Just email me your original stock file and I'll make a Phantom OTS map for you (.dev format).

Cheers,
Shiv

Ill send it your way. Do you have e85 too? Also were those runs with the dual pack batteries of standard setup?

I haven't started developing the new E85 map for the Phantom SC. Probably start next week after I get back from Vortech. And those dyno numbers were with the standard battery set-up (2 12v dump batteries). Will be doubling up as soon as we get our battery relocation kit this week

Awesome. Looks like you are hitting what the e85/esc was basically doing throughout the low to midrange. Should be neat to see what it can all do together. Let me know if I can help in anyway.

thanks in advance.
I'm actually wondering the same thing! I've got the OFT so I'm hoping one is a better option..

The difference between TQ250 and TQ300 looks small on the dyno.

Any noticeable difference in real life driving?

Shiv and OFT owners, anybody know of any tuners that are willing to use OFT to tune with a dyno in Florida? I'm all for your e-tuning Shiv but I would love to experience a tuning session first hand and try to learn a thing or two : )

Yes indeed. I'll be going down to Vortech later this week. And will be developing our own custom (non-CARB) maps immediately thereafter. With and without OFH.

I'd imagine any tuner who can tune will be willing to use OFT. Maybe not Ecutek tuners due to conflict of interested but that's ok. More important is to find a tuner that is competent. Perhaps one that has experience with Subarus as the Denso ECU in the FA20 is very similar.

Any update on E85 cold starts yet? I thought you were starting work on that a few weeks ago.

Just wanted to see if there was an update I overlooked I know there are a lot of threads to keep up with.

Thanks.

I've been noticing some "cold start" issues lately as well. At first I assumed it was morning temps, but it doesn't get nearly as cold here as people who have legitimate cold seasons. But I had trouble starting yesterday afternoon when the car sat all night and half the day, but ambient temp was warm.

Basically, the first start attempt ends in sputters and the second try starts it right up. This morning I played with the throttle a bit on the first try and did get it to finally catch.

I'm on v1.42. Any thoughts? I think the coldest outside temps I see here are around 40-50 F.
