Can anyone tell me what might be the problem with my car? Every time I hit a decent size bump I would hear a noise like a plastic sound coming from the speaker or the little air vents next to it. The noise really sound like someone is tapping on a paper that is in the air. I even turned of my radio and can still hear it, the thing is that I don't even blast my speakers at all so I don't really know where it is coming from or what it is at all.

Any advice or comment would be appreciated.
You might check to see if the right side A piller cover is snapped on proper. I suggest you press in, on the top near the windshield then put pressure on the outside nearest the side window.

as for the Fuel-pump chirp, this is the first time it has happened and it's been kind of intermittent.

The idle dip has been really intermittent too....not sure what causes it or how to recreate it.

I'm going to go to Toyota with a list of these things and demand they get fixed.

I think that's impressive.

My GTS is Nov 2013 build and I haven't had any of those issues, although there is a similar noise LHR but only as the car articulates over a drive entrance at an angle.

I have most of the issues, i learned to accept them as it is and that it really doesnt affect performance. My car built date was July 7th, 2013, i have light condensation and it disappear overtime.

I think most of those problems slowly disappear overtime, drive it and turn up your audio, 95% of the shit you hear in the car no longer relevant.

The chrip noise still cannot be fix, i bring my car in today and the service guy told me that there is no fix however, he said its has better insulation. They have TSB for this.

For the tail-light condensation, the dealership will fix it for you and yes they have a TSB on that too.

For the RPM dip, its seem like its hard for them to see what happen because it does not happen all the time. They did see the RPM dip and was told it was normal but they did not feel any shaking/stalling while the RPM dip, so they cannot do anything about it. (Possibly the HPFP cause it.... idk?)

Hope this help. I Will get my car back tomorrow and see "If" everything got fixed.

to fix the chirp run non ethanol gas. ive had the chirp ran non ethanol gas and it went away. the chirp will only go away once its completely out of ethanol gas. once it runs off pure gas the chirp poofs.

tried it several times with changing back and forth. hasn't failed me yet

ive had the tsb.done to mine and it didn't fix the problem.

I got a taillight replaced and it hasn't got any condensation in it yet.

As for everything else, I tend drown it out with non-economical driving.

There is your problem right there. With 1000miles on the clock it should be seeing redline often. Thats the whole point.

The only issue of yours that i have had is the rev drop. Its a pretty common known issue but in the grand scheme of things isn't too annoying.

1. Fuel-pump Chirping mine is intermittent but it started up last night, I have about 1096 miles on it. I ONLY use 93 octane and have only used Shell/Chevron. Is it worth getting this fixed since it doesn't seem to be going away even for those with numerous fuel pump changes?

2. Rear driver side "clack" "harsh click" noise when driving hard, turning hard Only noticed this once or twice, haven't been able to recreate it. I notice a clack/click sound almost as if a penny is falling onto metal in the rear side of my car. I think it's the rear decklid thing. Heard this can be fixed but also inevitably returns. Worth the fix?

3. Idle dip/engine shudder, intermittent about a handful of times I've gotten a strange idle dip/engine shudder either when coming to a stop and it happens around 25mph (whilst coming to a stop) or when completely idle at stop. Idle will dip below 800rpm then back up to about 1100 rpm then to normal idle. The other issue seems to be as stated during stopping, engine will make a strange shudder-noise like if it's stalling? Not sure...doesn't seem to really affect anything.

4. Beginning condensation in tail-lights most noticeable after washing my car, I get MINIMAL condensation right around the top edge of the tail lights going around the rim. Has anyone gotten this successfully fixed?

So far no other issues, I drive my car like a grandma would 95% of the time and have only laid down on it a handful of times.

No mods currently stock.

Any known fixes or TSB's that they will fix and honor without complaint?
#1 - No fixes. There is a TSB to change the high pressure fuel pump for the DI system, but it comes back after it breaks in. It's only a chirping noise and it's normal. Your going to have to learn to deal with it unless they find a permanent fix for it.

#2- Sorry, mine doesn't do it, or I just don't hear it.

#3- I see you are living in Florida, so I would imagine you run with the AC on. Living in Canada, I run with the heather on . I went a few years back to see the Nascar race in Miami in November. Mostly everyone had sweat shirts and coats on and we were in t-shirts and shorts and dying of heat LOL. Anyways, to get back on point, when you have the AC or the heater set to either windshield positions, it will click on and off the AC pump, and that click is what drops the RPM so low. It never does it when the fan is either off, or if its just simply blowing regular air with no AC or defrost.

#4- Mine also has condensation and there is a recall, so just bring it to the closest dealer and they should fix it right up.

Untrue.

Mine dips to ~600RPMs all the time with absolutely no fan/AC/heat on whatsoever

I have recorded it in every possible setting and it has no affect. If you read up on the forums a lot of people have the issue regardless of AC setting

I'm going to go to Toyota with a list of these things and demand they get fixed.
You need some more miles on your car.. Things do smooth out some over time. I get the idle dip under certain conditions, but it's normal. You are overly aware of these issues being a new car and all.
Everything you mentioned seems to be on par with what others experience.
Taking a list to Toyota and demanding they fix everything may not be the best plan. I would give the car and yourself some time to break in before you go getting yourself all aggravated by visiting the dealer..
Its human nature to focus on everything that seems wrong.. But the more time spent driving it and enjoying all that is good... Will let the other issues either work themselves out or give you time to realize what is normal for this car..

You said in the first post you hear a sound when driving hard and turning hard. Grandpa driving?
